Somewhat, yes, but not precisely... Erm... To be clear, are we talking about deciding where we place our protection, or deciding who will take the fall?
[ he assumes the latter but checking just in case before he goes on ]
Hang on. If I understand this correctly- what you're suggesting is we find out where each other group is placing their protection, then if there is overlap, protect someone uncovered.
But in the first place, hardly anyone is going to decide who they want to protect without better knowing where other groups are going to place their protection. There's no guarantee that any answers we get now will reliably indicate what decisions people will make by the end, or if they will indicate a clear or honest decision at all. People could also very well lie or decline to give us their information, and then we would have an incomplete picture to work with. And on the other hand, if we do obtain a complete picture, if there are more than two unprotected groups left over, then if possible, I would like to better coordinate with other groups to cover more of them. The only true choice each group has is to decide who to protect- the only reason we can even talk about such a thing as 'choosing who takes the fall' is in the understanding that we have the option to negotiate and influence other groups' decisions.
If the other groups lie or refuse to talk about who they're protecting, doesn't that kind of defeat the point? We can't exactly plan for people being jerks. And I'm fine with coordinating in the case of more than two unprotected groups.
The difference is whether or not there is a chance left over that everyone is protected. The more we manage to involve ourselves, theoretically, the lower that chance can become.
In any case- for now, I'm only speculating about different possible contingencies. We can't make any serious plans with Orca and Gideon in the states they're in now, besides. I'll start asking around for people's thoughts tomorrow, after everyone has gotten a chance to rest.

Orca broke the snowglobe connected to his memories. He's had a dreadful headache since, and isn't quite as sharp as his usual self...
Miss Nav is simply drunk.

Someone could have helped him put the globe in the dorm.
