Tarot memory share [Phoenix]
The room you enter this time is an ostentatious fortune tellers tent. Colourful silks drape the walls with intricate golden constellations embroidered on the ceiling. Various crystals, candles, magic 8 balls, and other superstitious sundries are scattered throughout the tent.
In the centre of the room is a table with ten chairs around it, and three cards laid out for you:
HIEROPHANT, STRENGTH, SUN
[ RULES | TURN-IN ]

Oh, you looked very natural in those heels! Sometimes they take getting used to. I'm impressed Mr. S-, erm, in this case is it Miss Sholmes?
no subject
...And thank you. The heels took a bit of practice, but I eventually became proficient enough to even run in them! Though my back would always ache terribly the next day.

[ honestly Yor is fine with the cold, but she wears that coat specifically for pockets and Loid got it for her ]
I'm still very impressed you managed with heels and a corset. The two of those together are very unwieldy.
no subject
The heels and corset are not so bad once they are on. It is in removing them when I start to feel as though I had been unfairly restricted. But the lengths one will go to for disguise and fashion is great, indeed.

...I think a fake mustache might suit you well, but it would be only one fraction of a full disguise. No, you'd have to commit to the whole costume if you wanted to fool anyone.
no subject
Oh, but I don't have anyone I want to fool! I was thinking of playing pretend, I certainly don't want Anya to not realize it was me, s-she might think she would be kidnapped again..
no subject
Anya's been kidnapped before?

[ after crushing groceries in her hand and letting the innards of her squashed enemies (because it was literally a squash) run down her hands ]

A mother’s love for her child is a very intimidating thing. And given what I know of your strength...
Either way, I am glad no harm came to poor Anya. She must have been frightened.

I think I'm saving the, um, tossing people for when she's a little older, maybe Iris's age! I'm sure she'll be ready and taller by then!

I once shared my flat with a young woman of only sixteen, and she had developed a most vicious throw. The “Susato Takedown”, she called it.
no subject
Oh my, that sounds really impressive. I wish I could meet Miss Susato and ask her about her technique! Is she also from the place where your other friends live?
no subject
Yes! She visited London from Japan, along with Mr Naruhodo. I should not wish this place on either of them, of course, but I do agree... it is a shame you cannot meet them. I think you would get along with either of them splendidly.
[It's not unusual for Sholmes to sound excitable about any given subject, and this is no exception, but there's an obvious hint of fondness in his tone, too.]
no subject
Oh, I really wish this Warden would use her special powers for nicer things. Just imagine what she could do with a vacation planning bureau!
no subject
[He sounds proud.]
Perhaps the Warden will conjure up a game based on vacation-planning for us in the future?
no subject
I just hope I can be more useful for the next task than I was for this one... I'm going to have to memorize entirely different countries just to know what vacation destinations people are talking about at this rate...
