The room you enter this time is an ostentatious fortune tellers tent. Colourful silks drape the walls with intricate golden constellations embroidered on the ceiling. Various crystals, candles, magic 8 balls, and other superstitious sundries are scattered throughout the tent.

In the centre of the room is a table with ten chairs around it, and three cards laid out for you:

HIEROPHANT, STRENGTH, SUN

I wouldn't say I'm fearless. I'm definitely afraid of losing people special to me.

But it helps being a warrior too.

Hmm, but that's an understandable fear. And not one that makes you instinctively recoil and punch a wall because it's an emotional thing and not one that has six spindly legs...

But thank you for sharing your memory for the Sun card, that was very generous of you!

I know I'm not very good at sorting these things out so I figured I could help best that way.

You were very helpful, and I'm glad you had a happy memory to share! I-I think I'd be a little worried for the teams that had to offer things like Death and Devil. We had a hard enough time with the Hierophant card...

And we're also very lucky to have so many smart people on our team like Stoat, Mr. Sholmes and Mr. Inui!

[ the latter two who are probably bickering about how pretty Sholmes is in a dress right now but they contributed ]

Yeah, I'm glad we didn't have any of the really nasty ones.

From what Stoat said it doesn't have to be nasty necessarily, but it's a shame so many of them are very sad. I would hope something that's supposed to predict the future would have more happiness than those eight ball answers.

I don't believe in that stuff anyway.

I'm not sure how to believe it until after the future becomes the past but, um, I suppose if the predictions are frequently wrong it would make sense not to believe it.

Do people here have any experience with them?

I only know about Stoat's friend, h-he said he would be cryptic and vague about future predictions too. But Stoat also said he hated him and he wasn't good at it...

I...don't think they're friends anymore.

[ mutually wanting each other dead seems like a non-friendship thing to do ]

But they used to play cards together and I suppose that's why it's so, um, focused about winning.

Was this friend also a... what did he say he was? Ermine?

Stoat didn't mention it. To be honest, I thought it might be something like a skunk or a badger...

He got mad when I caused him a weasel and corrected me.

I-I wouldn't take it personally. I think mad is the usual reaction it gives to almost everything...

Do you think maybe the friend was a weasel? And that's why it got so upset?

I guess that would make sense. Especially if they had a bad falling out.

It sounds like Stoat had a bad falling out with everyone...

There could be some personality work... He reminds me of Ched.

Ched? Is he, um, part of the group Wammawink took care of?

[ all those names were kind of a blur to her but she tried to remember! ]

Yep. He's a finchtaur. Very aggressive and unpleasant most of the time. But he cares deep down.

That does sound a little like Stoat the first two anyway...

I take it that means you have a lot of patience with others. No wonder you have a warrior's temperament.

I don't know. Ched and me fight a lot sometimes. But I try not to let him get to me for as long as I can.

Hmm, that's right! I know you said you like to stomp on bullies but it sounds as if he's difficult but not malicious when you fight...

Yeah, we're still family. He can just be a lot sometimes.
