The room you enter this time is an ostentatious fortune tellers tent. Colourful silks drape the walls with intricate golden constellations embroidered on the ceiling. Various crystals, candles, magic 8 balls, and other superstitious sundries are scattered throughout the tent.

In the centre of the room is a table with ten chairs around it, and three cards laid out for you:

Eh, you can play games with them, but most people get into it for narrative and fortune-telling and the inner journey and all that. Coincidentally, I know a big school nerd who also keeps telling the future all mystically and magically. He sucks and I hate him.

Ah, but about your fri—school nerd person, I can understand how it might be frustrating to talk to someone who is very cryptic. Mr. Sholmes and I felt that way just after spending a little while shaking those pool balls, and those only have a few responses. Was he at least good at telling the future? Or was it always "ask again later"?

Is he at least better at talking about the present? I admit, most people wouldn't be very accurate with predictions unless it was something like what dinner would be tomorrow but you've been very knowledgeable about what we should do with the cards we're dealt now! Is he someone you talk to about that kind of thing?

How come he has to be the one to tell me what the cards mean, huh? Did it ever occur to you that I'm smart and I know things on my own without being lectured by a killjoy?!

I just thought...um, usually people like to play cards with others? Unless you only like solitaire? So someone who shared the same interest as you might be someone you talked to more, e-even if they could be frustrating.

Your oblivious gullible thing is really annoying when you need it spelled out that everyone I used to know hates me and wants me dead, okay?! Would you lay off?!

And also, it's not like I actually care, because I hate them and want them dead, too! It's just annoying to explain it to you! That's the only problem!!

I-I-I'm sorry I don't mean to be... I just didn't think card games would be so intense that people would want to kill over them. Even Anya's dodgeball team mostly resorted to insults, a-and they had the excuse to throw balls at each other's heads.
