Tarot memory share [Phoenix]

The room you enter this time is an ostentatious fortune tellers tent. Colourful silks drape the walls with intricate golden constellations embroidered on the ceiling. Various crystals, candles, magic 8 balls, and other superstitious sundries are scattered throughout the tent.

In the centre of the room is a table with ten chairs around it, and three cards laid out for you:

HIEROPHANT, STRENGTH, SUN

Tarot, huh? As far as cards go, these ones suck.

I'm not sharing any memories, but I can explain what they mean at least. I guess.

[It touches each card as it describes them.]

Hierophant. That's like an old-school religious nerd type, by the way. Symbolizes authority, education, conformity and obedience. That kinda vibe.

Strength. You all know that word at least, right? Courage, conviction. Strength of character more than physical strength, but, y'know. May as well double up for other teams that might not know.

Sun. Not like, the literal sun, although we can double up there too if anyone's got anything. Joy, success, celebration. All that crap.

Oh! So we need to share a memory that everyone will be able to associate with that card! Like, someone who went out on a summer vacation and was really happy would work for the sun card?

I-it might be best to go with the obvious ideas, since I didn't know any of these extra meanings...

Yeah, if we get points for people guessing, we may as well dumb it down for everyone. You have a happy summer vacation memory?

[Sounding vaguely judgmental of the idea of having a happy summer vacation memory.]

Oh, I do! It was wonderful, we finally managed to meet up at the beach resort and spent a lovely day together. It was very sunny so we wouldn't have to worry anyone being confused about the weather! And Anya wanted to go snorkeling, so...

[ trailing off because she wonders if the judgement is because she's not explaining the memory well enough. followed up by a small concern that if there's some kind of magic involved it might be a bad idea to pick that memory, as wonderful as it was, because there were a few instances like when she had to change into her wetsuit and avoid the chest wound she was hiding... ]

I-I liked it very much! But, um, if that one doesn't work...I can do an example of strength? I might be better at that one.

I mean... It sounds fine. People would probably get the idea. And at least the Sun is probably pretty associated with Phoenix, even if people don't know who you are.

[ she's taking her time going through her memories, trying to find an example where her strength wasn't used as an assassin ]

There was that time I fought a bear! Bears are strong, right? S-so that would make it obvious!

A bear? How did that happen?

Yuri had a sore throat, and I wanted to get him some herbs and honey since the nice old lady from the shop told me that was the best cure. So I went into the forest to find everything! That's when a bear showed up, and it wouldn't leave me alone because it wanted the honey, but it was for Yuri so I wasn't going to let the bear have it!

...u-m so it took a swipe at me right where all the bee stings were, those hurt too and then I punched it as hard as I could to make it run away! I didn't see where it landed but it sailed over quite a few trees before that.

That does sound like it was frightening, though it seem like you have a good techinque...

Well, that was before I, um, got any self-defense training. So it was pretty sloppy. But it also maybe works in the other way Stoat mentioned because I was very determined to make sure Yuri got his medicine, e-even if I had to fight every animal and tree in the forest!
